Sales Referral Program

How It Works. . .

By referring potential web design clients to Media Moguls via our referral program, you can earn up to 6% commission on a Media Moguls sale. Commissions are assessed based upon the following table:

If you consider that the average amount for a complete web site sale is $1,000-$2,000, then (at a 5% rate of commission) you would earn $50-$100 profit for a single sale. This is illustrated in the previous chart.

Another way of looking at it is like this: Based on a $1,000-$2,000 average web site sale, if you are able to make 25 phone calls in one hour, and secure at least one sale, that translates into $50-$100/hr. compensation. If you are able to make 25 phone calls in 2 hours of work and secure only one sale, that equals $25-$50/hr. If you make 25 calls in 3 hours of work and secure one sale, you get $16.70-$33.40/hr. And if you make 25 calls in 4 hours of work and make a single sale, that still gives you $12.50-$25/hr. The following table illustrates this example:

You will need to provide us with valid contact information (including a valid street and e-mail address where we can send your earnings). Once you're a member, you'll be able to log into your profile, modify your account information, view a table of your earnings, and upload new referrals.

Benefits of the Program

There a many exciting benefits of participating in this program:

• You are not technically employed by Media Moguls, so NO MONEY is withheld from your commission. If you make $50 in one hour's worth of work, you receive $50 compensation.
• You DO NOT have to pay Media Moguls anything to participate in our sales associate program. Participation is FREE OF CHARGE*. There are NO hidden fees or costs.
• There are no contracts or quotas; you work when you want, how much you want, and are free to discontinue the program at any time†.
• You are not restricted to finding sales over the phone only. You are free to secure your sales in whatever fashion suits you best.
• Your job function is to send qualified sales leads to Media Moguls management. Management will ALWAYS close a sale, so you won't have to.

Suggested Ways of Securing a Sale

There are many ways that you might secure a sale:

• Over the phone or via the Internet
  • Outside of Cleveland, OH, you can access your local city hall or chamber of commerce (in person or via their web site), and retrieve the local phone numbers and/or e-mail addresses of small business owners in your area. Follow up your research by calling or e-mailing these contacts.
  • Find local businesses in your local phone book.
  • Find lists of business owners/executives in business-related magazines and publications, both online and off.
  • Secure sales leads in online forums or chat rooms.
• Via person-to-person sales
  • Visit local businesses in your area.
  • Network with your friends and business colleagues.
  • Network in any type of reasonable social setting.

Tips/Guidelines

Some tips and guidelines for maximizing your rewards in the program:

• ALWAYS make sure that you address your sales inquiry to the actual purchaser (i.e., a business owner or executive).
• ALWAYS get the appropriate contact information from potential clients (i.e., full name, business/org. name, phone number, e-mail address, and/or street address).
• ALWAYS report new referrals via the HTML form on your individual member profile page.
• Commissions are ONLY earned on actual sales. You do not receive payment for every qualified sales lead that you provide.
• Media Moguls will pay commissions either by sending a check in the US Mail or via PayPal. Checks will only be issued to residents of the United States or Canada, and a $1.00 check fee will be deducted from each payment. If you choose to receive your earnings via PayPal, you must provide a valid e-mail address, be capable of receiving PayPal payments in your Country/Region, and agree to be paid in either U.S. Dollars, Australian Dollars, Canadian Dollars, Euros, Pounds Sterling, or Yen. Media Moguls will not be responsible for PayPal transaction fees and currency-exchange-related fees (these fees will be deducted from your commission).
